French Market Basket

If you've been to France you're most likely familiar with these handcrafted, sustainable market baskets. If not, let us explain how useful we have found them over the years... Here in Raglan we all tend to use our market bags to pop down to the four square or out to the garden. Having one or a few next to the front door or in the boot of the car means they always get used for beach trips, Sunday morning farmers markets or just general errands.

Woven by farmers using fallen palm fronds with sturdy leather handles. They're lightweight but strong as we know they have carted our pottery around for years in them to potlucks and gatherings.
